01. What is your servers'
configuration?
We use Intel Xeon Quad core servers with a minimum of 4GB RAM memory and
100Mbit/s connectivity. All servers have a minimum of 4 drives configured in
RAID10 format and hardware raid controllers for maximum reliability. That means
our server will remain functioning even if 2 drives fail at the same time (1
drive from each raid1 sub-array in the RAID10 array). That also means you will
not lose data. That configuration provides a lot of power for your web sites
and they will open quickly at all times.
Additionally, all services on each
of our servers is being monitored every minute and we are alerted if a service
goes down so we fix it immediately. We always understand first if there is a
problem with any service on any of our servers. That gives you assurance your
server is taken care of and you can sleep at night knowing your web site is at
good hands.

03. How do I pay my bills?
To pay your bill you need request a letter to our e-mail billing@lankawebdesigning.info
and we will send a payment link for you to pay your bills through your credit
card. Our payments are secured by paypal and verisign. So you no need to worry
about the security of your payment. It is highly confidential not forward your
payment details to third parties.

04. How do I access my e-mail via webmail?
You can access webmail at
http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail/.
You must use your e-mail address as a username e.g. john@domain.com
and the username is the same - john@domain.com.

05. How to transfer my accounts to
your server?
If your old provider uses cPanel, we can transfer all your accounts free of
charge. To do that, you need to send a email with the following details for
each account you need transfered.
Domain name
cPanel username
cPanel password
We need those details for each
account. We cannot use your reseller login information to transfer the accounts
because we need to login via ftp to each of the accounts and move the data. If
you don't know the passwords of all accounts you want to migrate and you don't
want to change the password you have another option and have to follow the
steps below.
1. Logged into that account's cPanel
control panel
2. Click on Backups and then
Generate a full backup. Choose the full backup to be saved on a remote server
and be copied via FTP (passive mode). For remote ftp server enter the IP
address of your account with us (you can see the IP in your welcome e-mail).
For username enter your reseller username with us and the password. The fields
remote directory and port leave empty and click on the Generate backup button.
3. Do that for each account you want
moved. That will upload full backups to your account on our server. Once all
backups are uploaded you can open a ticket with technical support and ask us to
restore those backups for you. They will have all the data of the accounts -
e-mail, mysql, files - everything.
If the backups are more than 500MB
make sure to increase the space quota of your reseller account on our server so
that there is enough free space for the backups to be uploaded.
Once we restore/transfer your
accounts to our server you need to verify if the sites are working correctly
and contact us if you see any problems. If everything looks correct, you can
change the nameservers of your domains and allow 24 hours for DNS propogation.
Do not cancel your old account at least 24-48 hours after you changed the
nameservers so that you don't face downtime.

Simply contact us and we will upgrade your account without any downtime. You
can upgrade at anytime to any plan you want. If a move to a different server is
required, we will do that for you free of charge and without downtime.

eventual overcrowding of the server which will result in an overloaded server
and slow performance while our target is quality.
Q: Where are your servers located?
A: Our servers are located in USA which enables us to provide the best uptime to our
clients.
Q: Do you have an uptime guarantee?
A: Yes, we guarantee the server will
be up at least 99.9% in any given month. If the uptime is less than 99.9% we
will issue a refund for that month.
Q: What is your servers'
configuration?
A: We use Dual Xeon Quad core
servers with a minimum of 4GB RAM and 12 hard drives in RAID10 format.
That means the server will remain up even if 6 drives fail at the same time (1
drive from each RAID1 subarray). Moreover, our servers have dual power supply
units hence if one of them fails the server will remain up. The connectivity of
our servers is 100Mbit/s.
Q: Do you have daily backups?
A: Yes, we do. We use the R1soft CDP
backup technology which allows us to create multiple restore points for your
account hence you can restore backups for the last 7 days (1 backup for each of
the last 7 days). Moreover, we have integrated the backup into cPanel so that
you can perform the restores without contacting us.
Q: How long does it take to activate
my account?
A: New accounts are setup within 24
hours as per our terms of service. In most cases, your account will be setup
within 5-6 hours or even instantly depending on what time you signed up and if
billing department is online at that time.
Q: Do you allow porn content?
A: We do not allow porn content. We
do not allow the following content as well: torrents, proxies, irc, hacking
tools. We do not allow the space on our servers to be used for anything else except
for the needs of your web site. Such accounts will be terminated.
Q: Do I pay extra for private
nameservers?
A: No. You just need to send a email
and request it.
